As we continue to visit with tenants across the country we have learned many of the interests of tenants are similar. You join tenant groups that you are interested in or form your own group. If there are many Groups that are the same or if you want to suggest a group that has broad interest please let us know. Similar Tenant Groups are organized into categories

People that live in an apartment can join. This includes you if you live in a highrise building in New York City or a small town apartment community or complex in Idaho. If you rent in a two-family house it might not make as much sense but you still can add your property if you would like.  10ants is for all renters.

Also,  people that own or work for a company that manages apartments can join the apartment community that they work for.

Thus, if you do not live or work at the apartment community you join your account will be deleted or blocked.

Yes. Many staff members of property management companies use 10ants to communicate with tenants. You can choose to communicate with staff in the same manner as other tenants in your apartment community of building.  If your staff is not listed use the invite feature to invite them.

Your account and profile is yours. This is very different than from property management websites because your account is not deleted when you move or edited by property staff.

Yes. You can block users from contacting you and from seeing their posts. Please flag users that you feel are violating the terms of use.

Your account remains active but you should change your status to "past tenant."  You may want to keep in touch with current tenants even after you move or you may still want to answer questions from future residents.

Your account and profile is yours. This is very different than from property management websites because your account is not deleted when you move or edited by property staff.

Your Dashboard is your personal "home" page to see what you have posted and what has been posted in the groups you have joined.  New classifieds, swaps and shares are also listed.  Soon you will be able to hide sections that do not interest you.

You are welcomed to submit your article for consideration. 

1. The first step is to register and login in. 
2. While logged in create your Author profile.
3. Then write or post your article.

Some articles will post immediately and others will be reviewed.  If you don't see your article immediately please be patient. Articles about apartment life and living that are tenant centic and help people in their lives receive preferential treatment.  We love tenants and people that do too!

Your account is deleted if not used for an extended period of time. Prior to deletion you will receive a series of reminder emails to confirm that you would like your account to remain active or not.  Once deactivated you have 30 days to request that your account be re-activated.

Tenants of apartment communities and buildings can use 10ants without charge.
